For some time now there has been a great need for a resource that helps those emigrating out of Mormonism and into traditional Christianity. Statistics indicate that each year thousands of people make this journey, but along the way there are multiple challenges. Whether grappling with identity confusion, fractured family relationships, trying to find a place in a new religious community, as well as a myriad of questions concerning doctrine, church practices, and ways in which to view the world, those making the transition from one religious community to another need help. Transitions was created to meet this need. On this website you will find a description and overview of Transitions, as well as a preview of the first three chapters of the six-part video series. You will also learn about the written materials that accompany the video explorations, and ways in which to connect with others making the transition journey.

Transitions can be used in a variety venues. You may find yourself as part of a small group meeting in a church or a home, or you may be working through this resource as an individual in the privacy of your home or other study area. Regardless of your situation you will find that the video segments for each chapter fit well with the written materials. In the written materials for each of the modules you will find narratives combined with questions for personal reflection and study. These can be used by individuals, as well as serve as conversation starters for small group leaders. If you find yourself working through Transitions as an individual, we strongly encourage you to share your experiences and journey of immigration with others as soon as possible. This will make the process easier to work through as you travel with others who share your experiences.

It is our hope that Transitions serves as a valuable resource for you, your family, and your new church community.
